The new cylinder performed as it should after I installed it on my log splitter ..
I was disapointed that the new cylinder had all of the safety decals on it but not the 37 Ton decal .
I have a 34 ton unit and i was told the the 37 ton cylinder would bolt on but the hydraulic line connections would be different and I was ok with that.
The cylinder did not "bolt on" . The original cylinder necked down from 2" to 1 3/4" at the wedge end .The new cylinder is 2" all the way into the wedge . So I had to modify the wedge . On the Clevis end of the original cylinder the pin was 1" and on the new is 1 1/4".
I had to buy the bigger pin and modify the original hole to except the 1 1/4" mounting pin .
