Very satisfied

after taking off dust cover cotter key was not thru the packing nut bearing was loose. after replaceing wheel still loose so had to add a washer so cotter key would fit in packing nut

Decided to replace complete tire assembly rather than change tires on 30+ yo Brave splitter. Was pleased to find the parts in stock at Foards and shipping was quick. Decided to add the dust caps to the order to have a nice clean job. Ordered them from Foards even though it added as much to shipping as the cost of the caps ($10) as I figured it would be guaranteed good fit to the wheel. Was disappointed to find I paid $10 to throw the caps in the box with the wheels, but oh well. The kicker is that the caps were near impossible to install (not my first rodeo) and I bent one up pretty good and destroyed the other one (ended up using the old cap, which went in easily). If I had it to do over, I would have reused the old caps or sourced a better cap elsewhere. So, in the end very happy with the wheels but disappointed in both the cost of shipping and the quality of the caps - a waste of $20.

Fortunately I haven't needed many repair parts for my older Brave log splitter but the few times I have needed parts, Foards came through. They were very helpful looking up and cross referencing parts and getting me what I needed quickly.
