(LSP30M-00017) HYDRAULIC HOSE (VALVE-FILTER) (602-1901)

Had some issues at the beginning. Because of me, getting the part that I needed took a little longer than expected.
This story is a little funny.
So, there are 2 main hydraulic hoses on my Brute log splitter. They both look different. One is a straight shot from one connection to the other. The other hose is a little bit shorter and has an elbow at one end.
Now that said, the first hose I received was the longer one. I called Foards and they were so helpful and understanding. We reordered the the other hose. I told them that I would keep the first one and use it as a backup.
Imagine how excited I was when the second hose was delivered. I have been waiting to split 3 cords of ash, locust and maple.
To my surprise inside the second box was the same exact hose as the first one I received. Of course I called them back to inform them.
As it turns out, the makers of the Brute log splitter discontinued the shorter hose with the elbow. They had several issues with it and found that the longer hose worked better than the shorter one anyway 😅

Had a hydraulic hose spring a leak on my 25tonne "Black Diamond" log splitter. Couldn't find the hose locally, and was quoted $250 for a custom job. This hose is slightly different than the old one, but fit perfect and I was able to run the splitter all weekend with no issues. Perfect product, good customer service. Thanks!

Great service, very helpful

I was having a hard time finding the right hose for my log splitter til I came across this site. The hose fits just as well as the original. I have put it to the test and it’s working out great. Only downside is having USPS as the primary delivery option. Other than that, I’d use this site for parts when I need them.
