The part works fine. What was even more helpful was the person taking my order over the phone. As I can't find schematics for this old Brave log splitter with the Briggs and Stratton engine and components, the service parts person was able to provide me a full description of the part and accessories, "o" ring and hose clamps I would need for replacing the shutoff valve. This information was invaluable and much appreciated.
